April to June is lovely: the tulip fields around Amsterdam bloom from late March to mid-May, and the days are long in all three cities. September is calmer and still mild. In December, London, Amsterdam and Bruges dress up for the holidays.

Frequently asked questions

How do we travel between London, Amsterdam and Bruges?

By train all the way. The Eurostar links London to Amsterdam directly in about four hours, and Amsterdam to Bruges takes around three hours with one change in Belgium. We book your seats and send everything in one travel document, so the journey between cities is part of the pleasure.

Do we need to book the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum in advance?

Yes, both work with timed tickets that sell out, especially in spring. We book them for you as soon as you confirm your trip, and plan the days around your entry times.

Can we stay longer in one city?

Of course. This itinerary is an idea to start from: three nights per city is a comfortable pace, but your travel designer can add a night in London, swap Ghent for Antwerp or Brussels, or finish your trip in Paris.
