Questions travelers ask
Is the first proposal free?
Yes. Telling us about your trip and receiving a priced proposal within 48 hours costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We only ask for a deposit once you have approved an itinerary you want to book.
What is a DMC and why does it matter?
A Destination Management Company is a licensed travel operator based in the destination. We contract hotels, guides, drivers and trains directly, with our own teams on the ground, instead of reselling another company's product. For you it means local knowledge, direct prices and one number to call during the trip.
How is the price calculated?
Each itinerary is priced per person on the hotels, transport, guides and experiences it contains, for your dates and party size. The 'from' price on each package is the real starting price for two people sharing in the lowest season. Your proposal shows one all-in figure and lists exactly what it covers.
Can I change the itinerary after I receive it?
As many times as you like before booking: swap a hotel, add a night, replace a museum with a hike. After booking, changes remain possible subject to the cancellation terms of the hotels and providers involved, which we state in the proposal.
Do you book flights?
International flights are not included by default, because most travelers prefer to use their own miles or airline. As an IATA-accredited agency we can book them on request, including open-jaw tickets that fly into one city and out of another.
Who do I call if something goes wrong during the trip?
Your travel designer, on the direct number in your travel documents, with an emergency line answered 24/7. Because we are in the same time zone as your trip, a missed train or a hotel issue is handled while it is still happening.
