Our designers’ take

01

A honeymoon has different rules from a first trip. Fewer bases, better rooms, private everything, and one or two experiences you would never book for yourselves. Our honeymoon itineraries are built around that: three or four nights per stop, 4* boutique or 5* hotels with the right room (lake view, terrace, Matterhorn side), private drivers, private boats, and a designer who tells the hotel it is your honeymoon so the welcome is real.

Gulf of Saint-Tropez, French Riviera in 7 Days: Saint-Tropez, Porquerolles, Nice & Monaco
02

The flagship is Luxury France Honeymoon in 14 Days: a private electric-boat cruise on the Seine with champagne, a photo shoot in Paris, the Dior Gallery before opening hours, Burgundy's Route des Grands Crus with a winemaker lunch, a night at Auberge du Père Bise on Lake Annecy, a helicopter over Mont Blanc, Lavaux and Chillon on the Swiss shore of Lake Geneva, then five nights in Provence with lavender in a vintage 2CV, the Camargue by 4x4 and a cooking class with a Michelin-starred chef. From 9,999 € per person in 5* hotels; we also price the same route in 4* boutique hotels.

Milan, Italy & Switzerland in 7 Days: Milan, Lake Maggiore, Lugano & Zurich
03

For one week by the sea, French Riviera in 7 Days opens with a private dinner in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, spends a day on a private yacht to Porquerolles, visits Villa Ephrussi and Eze, and ends with Monaco by night and your own perfume made in Grasse, from 1,899 € per person. Couples who want lakes and mountains together choose Italy and Switzerland in 7 Days: Milan, the Borromean Islands by private boat, Lake Orta, Lugano and a spa afternoon at the Bürgenstock above Lake Lucerne, from 2,999 € per person.

04

Timing: May, June and September for Paris and the Riviera; mid-June to mid-July if lavender matters; September for the Italian lakes; December for a snow honeymoon in Zermatt. See France, Italy and Switzerland for seasons. Mathilde and Karine design most of our honeymoons from France and send a priced proposal within 48 hours; tell us your wedding date and we handle the rest.

A wonderful travel partner

Caroline our specialist was always knowledgeable, available, helpful and kind. I was unable to make the trip because my cat became quite ill a couple of days before our departure. Caroline helped my husband have an enjoyable trip on his own and we appreciate her. I learned a lot even though I couldn’t travel. I can now use What’s App and Google Translate and Instagram. Thank you Caroline!

Barcelona to Nice along the Mediterranean

We had a wonderful time making the journey along the Mediterranean coast. Starting in Barcelona we were able to visit the newly opened Sagrada de Familia with a wonderful guide - one of the highlights our trip. We had an early entry so the crowds were easily managed and we were able to enjoy both inside and out. The next day we had another great guide who showed us the Jewish history and historical presence in Barcelona. After Barcelona, we went to Girona, which was a wonderful surprise. We stayed at a lovely hotel in the old town that was a converted palace. Our tour here of the old town focusing on Jewish history was incredible. The next day we had an all day small group tour of Dali's house and museum - both well worth the travel including the incredible views along the Costa Brava. Travelling by car along the southern coast of France was relatively easily finding great things to see - Pone du Gard, Baux de Provence town and castle, St. Paul de Vence and finally Nice. An electric bike ride in Nice was also wonderful.

Mount Pilatus, Lake Brienz and Grindelwald

The trip was wonderful. Emilie did a great job in booking our hotels and tours! She explained the train system and how to use the Swiss Rail Pass. The trip was wonderful. Emilie did a great job in booking our hotels and tours! She explained the train system and how to use the Swiss Rail Pass. The hotels for the most part were in great locations, close to the train stations, restaurants and sites to see. The trips she planned to Mount Pilatus and Gornergrat were filled with beautiful scenery of the Alps! Our Kayak tour on Lake Brienz with Hightide Kayaks and Ben, our guide was great. It couldn’t have been more peaceful and serene and Ben got some great photos for us. Our E-bike tour through Grindelwald was filled with amazing views of waterfalls and quaint towns. Marceau, our guide was informative and provided us with hi-lites of the area, photos and a perfect picnic lunch. We did have one glitch, with The Galcier Express running almost three hours longer than scheduled. We heard rumors that there was a train issue with another Glacier Express train. By the time we got to one of the more scenic areas, it was too dark to see any sites. Checking into our hotel at around 9 pm and leaving before 9 am the next morning seemed like such a loss of time. Granted this is no fault on Mobee International’s part, it was just a matter of unforseen circumstances. We only caught a glimpse of St Moritz on the bus ride back to the train station. Emile is aware and has started a process for a refund of some sort. Overall I would highly recommend Emilie and the Mobee International team to friends that seek assistance with travel plans. This is our second trip Mobee International assisted us with travel plans.

Frequently asked questions

Where in Europe is best for a honeymoon?

Paris and Provence for romance and food, the French Riviera for sea and glamour, the Italian lakes for villas and boats, the Swiss Alps for scenery and quiet. The strongest two-week combination is Paris, the Alps and Provence, which is our 14-day itinerary. One week: the Riviera or the lakes.

How much does a Europe honeymoon cost?

From 1,899 € per person for a Riviera week with private transfers and a yacht day, 2,999 € for Italy and Switzerland in 4* hotels, and 9,999 € per person for our 14-day France honeymoon in 5* hotels with helicopter and private chefs. A 4* boutique version of the 14-day route is roughly half. Flights excluded.

Can you arrange surprises and special touches?

Yes, and we like to. Champagne and flowers in the room, a private photographer in Paris, a sunset boat with dinner on Lake Annecy or Lake Como, a helicopter over Mont Blanc, a chef at your villa in Provence. Tell your designer what would mean something to you both and whether it should be a surprise.

When is the best time for a European honeymoon?

Late May to June and September for Paris, the Riviera and the lakes: warm, long days, before or after the August crowds. Mid-June to mid-July for lavender in Provence. Winter honeymoons work in Zermatt or Val d'Isère with a spa hotel and the Glacier Express. Avoid August in Paris and on Lake Como.

How far ahead should we plan?

Six to nine months for summer or Christmas departures, because the best 5* rooms with a view and the small boutique hotels go first. Three months is enough for a spring or fall honeymoon if you are flexible on hotels. Your proposal arrives within 48 hours of your request.

Two minutes, three steps. Free and without obligation.
